One of the most anticipated movies of the year was released July 26. Deadpool and Wolverine has received mainstream coverage by tons of pop culture focused media and an IMDb rating of 4.4 out of 5.
The film is definitely one to see with friends and family for a more enjoyable experience.
Art teacher Payton Harsh, who watched the film, said, “I loved it. It was hilarious, it was amazing.” “When the first Deadpool movie came out, me and my step dad went to go watch it together and then we watched the second one together and so it only felt right that we watch this one, as well.”
“Most of the jokes were very funny, I thought the action scenes were very entertaining, overall it was a very enjoyable experience.” “I’m a pretty big Marvel fan myself. I’ve watched the previous Deadpools before and I enjoyed them a lot. I heard they were making a third one and I was like I really want to see this. And my friend had invited me along and we usually go see movies together, so I had to go see this.” said Bakari Gosha.
Whilst the film is doing well by viewers, it’s also breaking records everywhere.
Deadpool and Wolverine has been said to be the highest grossing R-rated movie ever, surpassing the Joker movie with over 1.079 billion dollars in total. Even the opening of the movie topped every other movie, with $211.4 million.
One unique feature of the movie is its cameos of new character variations of Deadpool. There’s a Ladypool, Dogpool, a Wolverpool, Babypool, Nicepool, Venompool, and so many more. There’s also cameos from past MCU stars, such as; Jenifer Garner for Elektra, Chris Evans as Captain Marvel, Wesley Snipes as Blade, Channing Tatum as Gambit, and more.
As a stellar action-comedy roller coaster, the Deadpool and Wolverine movie will continue inciting humor among crowds and its record-breaking success.
