“Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake” is a new show that debuted August 31 on Hulu, Max, and  Amazon Prime Video. People who are long-time fans of Adventure Time are quite excited about the new show containing their favorite characters. Fionna and Cake has 5 episodes out right now with 10 planned in the season. 

“The new show is a big difference, adding more to the characters as a whole while also expanding the lore of one of the main characters Ice King/Simons,” said 15-year-old fan, Dylan Kratz. 

However, there have been some changes to the show. They have been getting mixed reactions to the changes. “They have changed some voice acting of main and side roles and made the characters in a more realistic setting instead. This change is very helpful to the story.” Kratz Said.

According to the reviews for the show, people are enjoying the more mature aura and how the story is going so far. They are saying it feels like the show is growing up with their audience. “The show has been making PG13 jokes, adding things more teens would understand, and the heavy amount of blood.”

Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake can be found on Hulu, Max, and Amazon Prime Video. It has only 1 season out and no news about another season coming out. They plan 10 episodes in total while 5 are out now. The episodes come out every Thursday.
