Amazing Themed Areas Throughout The Parks
My favorite themed area at Universal is the Harry Potter and The Wizarding World parts. They created Diagon Alley, located in Universal Studios, and Hogsmeade, located in Islands of Adventure. Both of these areas include so many details from the books and movies. With tons of shops to go to and so many sweets to try, there is always something to do. To top everything off, the Hogwarts Express takes you from park to park. The next themed area is Springfield from the Simpsons TV show in Universal Studios. While walking through this area, it’s like being in an episode of the Simpsons. You get to walk through a part of the town. Also, the food in Springfield is to die for.
Thrilling Roller Coasters and 3D Rides
The best roller coaster throughout both parks has to be Hagrid’s Magical Creature Motorbike Adventure, located in Islands of Adventure (Hogsmeade). This coaster has no loops but does have some sharp turns, goes backward, and the track falls to a lower track during the ride. This ride is extremely popular, so make sure you get there early so you get the chance to ride before the wait gets long. Next, we have a tie for second-best rides. The Velocicoaster and The Incredible Hulk Coaster, are both located in Islands of Adventure. Both of these are huge coasters that take you through loops and corkscrews. The Velocicoaster has incredible speeds and has a thrilling launch at the beginning. The Incredible Hulk also has a launch but from the very top of the first hill. Lastly, there is also a tie for the third-best rides. The Amazing Adventures of Spiderman, located in Islands of Adventure, and The Transformers ride, located in Universal Studios. Both of these rides take you through movie-like scenarios and have incredible graphics throughout.
Food Shops and Merchandise Shops Throughout the Park
There are merchandise shops throughout both of the parks. The best ones to go to are the Harry Potter-themed ones. You can go get a wand at Ollivanders, have a sweet treat at Honeydukes, and go stock up on your pranking supplies at Weaslys’ Wizards Wheezes. Also, don’t forget to try the Butterbeer! Next, are the food places inside Springfield. The Krusty Burger has amazing burgers, but there was so much to choose from. Now, if you want a nice family restaurant to visit after a long day at the parks Citywalk has some amazing choices for you. With such a wide variety there is something for everyone. My personal favorite was the Toothsome Chocolate Emporium and Savory Feast Kitchen. They have the best milkshakes and they come with so many toppings.
Universal Studios is such a great place to visit. There is such a variety of things to do, you will never get bored. So book your trip now, I promise you won’t regret it.
