Kallen Idlewine is a freshman here at Anderson High School, he is fourteen years old and has found himself in student publishing. Kallen has many hobbies and interests,

though he is mostly captivated by collecting retro technology and wrestling.

At Highland Middle School, Kallen was captain of the wrestling team. He originally signed up with wrestling due to one of his friends approaching him and asking him to join with him, Kallen thought that if his somewhat scrawny friend was going to do wrestling, he might as well.

Doing wrestling has made Kallen more self assured, it has made him feel powerful, which is really good, as he had some friends that didn’t respect his boundaries, joking around about things he wasn’t really comfortable with. Kallen has made many new friends doing wrestling, but a lot of people in wrestling he was already friends with. Wrestling has done a lot for him and helped him grow greatly.

In addition to wrestling, Kallen likes collecting retro things such as vinyls, CDs, and just old technology and cultural items in general. Hopefully this year Kallen will be able to cover sports, opinions, entertainment, and write some amazing articles that really represent the abilities and talent of Anderson High School.
