Hi,  my name is Kevin Rodriguez. I am in the 10th grade. I had no specific reason for joining the newspaper class.  I wanted to learn how to interview people and get the back story by talking to people.  I wanted to make new friends and get to know different people.  I played soccer for Anderson High School,  I was the striker for the soccer team and made a few goals.

My favorite hobby is fishing. My motivation to fish began with my stepdad.  He has always been a fisherman and this peaked my interest. The biggest fish that I have ever caught was an eleven pound catfish. I was with my stepdad and I sat down on my fishing rod to wait for the fish and it gave a big tug. Then there was a huge tug and I could feel the force of the fish and I knew it was going to be a larger fish because of the force that the fish put on the line.
