This show is an intense and suspenseful psychological thriller.Each episode will definitely keep you on the edge of your seat. I do feel like the show was very slow paced.I don’t like how the creator waited until the very last episode to throw in the biggest plot twist of all times. And kept the viewers wondering about the aftermath of how things would play out.Many viewers enjoyed this show.Most viewers had very positive things to say about this show this Tv show.
Cast
Simona Brown played the role of Louise. Louise is a single mother to a boy named Adam.Louise also works as a secretary.She can’t stay away from her new boss David.She struggled to balance her work life and raising her son.She is very kind hearted and vulnerable.Which made her a very easy target in the show.She was way to curious for my liking which got her into all the mess she went through during the show.She would have been fine if she would’ve just minded her business but she didn’t. Louise was most definitely my least favorite cast member in the show.I say this because her number one priority should’ve been her son simple as that.But she was so concerned about a couple she just meet.She’s wrong for interfering with a married couples life.My lesson I learned from watching Louise during this series is know when to stop.If you see someone’s wrongdoing don’t try to help or change someone.Because that’s not your responsibility.
Eve Hewson played the role of Adele.Adele is David’s wife.She is a very mysterious woman with a traumatic past.She astral projects during the whole series.Which allows her to see and go anywhere she wants.It’s a little creepy to think people can partake in that kind of thing.All she wanted was a friend and to be free.She just wanted a regular life.Also she feels like she needs to be controlling in any situation.She is seen as the perfect wife on the outside but as time goes on it becomes clear that she has a troubled personality.Shes very manipulative and her relationship with David is so far from what it seems.I feel like Hewson played her role very well in this show.Watching through I honestly thought Adele was psycho.But trauma can really mess up someones life.And Adele is a great example of how trauma can ruin someone.After watching till the end I realized that I didn’t get to know or see the true Adele.If you end up watching the Tv show you will understand what I exactly mean by not getting to know the true Adele.
Tom Bateman played the role of David.David is a successful man but behind all the success he has deep secrets and emotional baggage.Hes married to Adele and there is so much tension in their marriage.He holds back on showing Adele love.Very standoffish to his wife.He is struggling with his own guilt and responsibilities.Using Louise as a getaway to ease the stress.Those to caused the most conflict in the show.I think Bateman played his role pretty well.His emotion throughout the whole show was amazing.I did feel bad for him and everything he was going through.He did get a little aggressive during the middle of the show.Which had me second guessing if I like his character or not.
Soundtrack
The soundtrack for “Behind Her Eyes” is pretty haunting and really adds to the atmosphere of the show. The music was composed by Rupert Coulson and includes a mix of eerie, suspenseful tracks that fit the psychological thriller vibe perfectly.
She Don’t Dance by Everyone You Know played in the very first episode. This song played in the scene when Louise was in the bar waiting on her date to show up.
Golden Touch by Razorlight played in the second episode.This song played in the scene when Adele was in her house painting her bedroom wall and singing happily.
Ditch by Empra Mi played in the sixth episode which was the very last episode in the series.This song played when David, Louise and Adam were traveling in the car after the wedding.
