The No Kings protests have rapidly spread across the US. Each protest opposes President Donald Trump’s presidency. Due to how Trump has acted, many other protests have risen like anti-ICE protests, which have occasionally become violent due to ICE attacking protesters. Which has only strengthened the protesters’ reason to protest.
Protests have happened all over the country, most of them being peaceful protests and only walking around with signs about the protest, some people have started to create t-shirts or other clothing displaying “no kings” and other symbols referring to the protests.

“There’s chanting, in a very professional and integral way there’s no profanity, no F this or F that person. Basically the message is being said in a chance we want affordability, afford America, we want no wars, we want no kings, we want a democracy,” said Randall Harrison, AHS Government teacher
Many people who protest strongly disagree with what President Trump has been doing and acting, attacking other countries, and getting into wars that they believe aren’t needed, which in response has led to even more protests and some people dying at war.
“He’s acting a lot like a dictator, I would argue similar to Hitler,” said Harrison.
With more and more protesting events taking place, most of the people that show up are from younger generations, compared to many people who are in government positions who are from older generations, many people hoping that the younger generations will pay attention more and help either prevent Trump from doing worse, or from future presidents to act how Trump has recently.
“It’s good to see that young people are trying to pay attention, and it appears based on how they’re responding they’re getting that information from as many potential valid sources as possible. That’s what gives me hope,” said Harrison
