Owning a raccoon can be difficult, and hard. If you ever wanted one, there’s a somewhat hard way of getting one. 

Raccoons can cost up to1,500$. Before you can buy one though, you have to do a lot. First, you have to prepare your house and make it safe for a raccoon, and you’d have to buy a Wild Animal Possession Permit which you can get either online or in person. They’ll send someone to your house or place that you keep the raccoon and ensure it’s good, and ensure your house or where you’re going to keep your raccoon is safe and protected for everyone. After getting the permit, you’re going to have to find someone that’s willing to sell you a raccoon. Maybe a breeder, or through an official store. 

Owning a raccoon can be very fun and exciting, but can also be somewhat dangerous. Taking care of a raccoon is most likely the hardest part of owning one. You have to do things like giving it a bath, which can be fun and a bit scary sometimes depending if your raccoon likes it or not.
