Student Council Host Homecoming Tailgate Fundraiser

Anderson High School hosted a fundraiser for homecoming on the practice field on Friday, September 15th. There was be a bounce house, games, food and drinks.

I interviewed Leo Padilla, Student council member, who was all dressed up Thursday. He was wearing all blue for color wars and had a wig on.

“There was food, drinks and games.” There is a go fund me where we were trying to raise $5000. $1,425 was raised so far, without student support we can’t do things for the kids here at Anderson High School.

I talked to Padilla after the event. He said that “My stand and the bounce houses were not that busy”, “food trucks and drink stands had long lines.”

My name is Gaige. I am a photography/newspaper student. Some things about me are that I like to ride around town on my BMX, I like to hang out with my friends and I drive race cars almost every weekend. I like to listen to music when I’m doing something or working on something. I think I'm a more athletic person than a lazy person. I don’t like certain subjects in school cause I would rather have a fun teacher than one that’s not fun. Some things I like are long bike rides at night. I also like the skate park. I used to go to Florida almost every break we get from school to go see family. I mostly took this class because I like to take pictures. Over summer me and my friends would go to Walmart to mess around but never do anything to break stuff. I don’t really care what people have to say about me. I would rather do me than worry about other people and what they have to say about me. It’s easy to make friends for me cause I just be myself instead of trying to fit in. The longest friendship I have is 10 years.
