The Anderson High School Fall Festival took place in the auxiliary gymnasium this year, seemed to be very joyful and consisted of fun games like a mega-sized tic-tac-toe,food and drinks, and other entertainments such as balloon animals made by a festive elf.
Attendees had a smile on their faces and children were running around trying to figure out what fun activity they wanted to do next. Carmen Villalba, a sophomore who attends Anderson High School, was running the tic-tac-toe game. She said, “I had a lot of fun playing against the people who brought their tickets to play, I definitely got more points than others.”
The Festival had good food such as tacos, street corn, and lemonade for a drink. There were also snacks such as popcorn and cotton candy for if attendees just wanted something sweet or small to snack on while they walked around.

The fall carnival was mainly run by student council members and they did a really good job at piecing this festival together and running the games.
Attendees said the ladies who ran the outside food court did an amazing job at making the food. Matthew Brant, a boy who attended the festival says “The food was great.”
Brant gives a mixed review about the carnival overall, “It was a little boring but for a high school festival it was pretty good. Not all the games were fun but others really caught my attention and I had a fun time playing some of them.”
To conclude, this year’s festival was quite the experience mixed with fun and some boredom. Attendees seemed to have at least one thing that they liked about this festival and they seemed to enjoy it a little bit at the very least. I’m sure others can’t wait for another event like this at Anderson High School.
